It’s all back in my hands…
If you’ve followed me for a long time, you might remember when this journey began. Back then, my world was wide—a landscape of wool crafts, travels, and the art of formulation.
Over time, that path led me into a deeper and deeper dive into the technical, precise world of formulating cosmetics. I cherish that time and the skills I honed in the lab, but as the years passed, regulations changed and tightened. I began to feel the weight of it; I felt my voice was being silenced. So many times I tried getting back into sharing my experiments and my formulas, but a wall of rules and regulations stood in the way. I couldn’t sound instructive; I couldn’t give suggestions to anyone wanting to learn the same craft that gave me so much fulfillment. Eventually, I had to let it all go.
And as that ended, I started to feel a pull towards how it all began. Not to start over, but to come back with the perspective of someone who has spent years evolving, learning, and refining.
Wool and Embers Studio is my homecoming.
This is where I let my “Jack of all tradeness” fully breathe. This space is a return to the heart of making – to the tactile, the intentional, and the sacred. It’s a place where my hands can move freely again, focused on the warmth of wool, the alchemy of a simple apothecary, and the quiet rhythm of a peaceful home.
I’m glad you’re here to share this next chapter with me.
